Good , I'm Alex Rankin! A full-stack developer originally from Auckland, New Zealand, currently based in Sydney, Australia.
I’ve always been curious about how things work - starting with design and websites, and slowly falling down the rabbit hole into full-stack development, integrations, and building systems that actually hold up in the real world. These days, I spend most of my time working with React, Next.js, Webflow and helping teams turn ideas into scalable, production-ready platforms.
I come from a mix of design, marketing, and engineering, which means I care just as much about how something feels to use as how it’s built under the hood. I enjoy bridging the gap between business goals and technical execution - especially when the problem is messy, ambiguous, or “shouldn’t be possible”.
Outside of client work, I’m a bit of a tinkerer. I like experimenting with hardware projects, automation, and anything that blends software with the physical world - from Raspberry Pi builds and 3D-printed parts to scripts that save time by killing off repetitive tasks.
When I’m not at my desk, you’ll probably find me at the gym, exploring antique market spots, or pulling something apart just to see how it works.
