A motion capture project created for my second-year AUT assignment, demonstrating abstract human movement through a black belt's karate katas. Showcases the complete MoCap pipeline from capture through data cleanup to final render.

Production Pipeline

Motion capture session at AUT's studio with a black belt performing karate katas. Data cleanup involved cleaning markers, smoothing motion curves, and fixing tracking errors. Imported into Cinema 4D for character rigging, motion mapping, and abstract visualization. Final rendering produced stylized representations of movement.
